Spiral-patterned Vase

A vase style from the Song Dynasty, featuring several raised spiral lines around the body. It has a dish-shaped mouth, a straight neck, a rounded and bulging belly, and a ring foot. Qing Dynasty imitations typically have a flatter and broader belly, a flared ring foot, and three sets of raised bowstring patterns from the neck to the shoulders.
