Square Bottle with Chamfered Corners (Sifang Wojiao Ping):

This bottle shape was first created during the Xuande reign of the Ming Dynasty and was exclusively produced in blue-and-white porcelain. It features a lipped rim, a straight neck, a pair of beast-shaped handles, and a square belly with chamfered corners forming an octagonal hammer-like shape. The base has a tall, flared ring foot. During the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty, official kilns produced larger versions of this vessel with exceptionally refined craftsmanship.
