Multi-tube Vase:Named for the upright tubes molded on its shoulders, this vase typically features five or six tubes (though some have none). It has a straight mouth or lotus-shaped mouth, a rounded belly, and some versions come with a floral-knob lid. Produced in both northern and southern porcelain kilns during the Song Dynasty, the small tubes on its shoulders sometimes connect to the interior of the vessel. Non-connected tubes often indicate the vase was a funerary object.
