Recessed-Foot Bowl (Wozu Bowl)

A bowl style that became popular during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty. The “recessed foot” refers to its inwardly concave base that curves upward toward the center of the bowl, resembling an overturned pot—hence also known as the “Pot-Bottom Bowl.”
