Bamboo Hat Bowl Named for its resemblance to a bamboo hat (斗笠). The Jingdezhen bamboo hat bowls of the Song Dynasty feature slanted walls and a small base, appearing more upright and elegant compared to the slanted-wall bowls of the Five Dynasties period.
